How internships work

 

How it works

We offer technical and nontechnical paid summer internships for students in academic programs (undergraduate, Masters, MBA, and Ph.D). Internships last roughly 12 weeks. 

When to apply

The best time to apply for our internship program is in the fall when we start recruiting. We open applications by the end of August for next summer. From there, qualified applicants will proceed to a series of phone or video interviews and possibly a brief assignment.

While this is the typical timeline, we encourage you to apply to roles that interest you at any time.

Can an internship lead to a full time opportunity?

Absolutely! Our internship program is designed to give you the opportunity to create, develop, and demonstrate your skills while getting hands-on experience with our team and culture. 

Our hiring process is competitive, but our internship program is one of the most effective ways to interview for a full time position. Many current employees began their career journeys at Nutanix as interns. While you're here, you’ll have the opportunity to connect and hear their unique stories firsthand.
