Why Nutanix Central?
Managing diverse and distributed environments can be challenging, especially for organizations dealing with the rapidly expanding Edge. Nutanix Central provides a seamless universal cloud operating model that simplifies management at a large, federated scale. This includes managing endpoints wherever they might be, from a single console offered as-a-Service.
What is Nutanix Central?
Nutanix Central addresses some of the key challenges that our customers face when embarking on a hybrid multicloud journey. We have listened to our customers and have identified their top requirements:
- Global visibility and reporting across their Nutanix Cloud Platform deployments wherever they may be
- Simplicity in managing their Hybrid multi-cloud deployments through a single console instead of multiple Prism Centrals (PCs) they need to access today
- Seamless access to all Nutanix cloud services across domains
Nutanix Central addresses these current challenges by extending our universal cloud operating model. The focus for Nutanix Central is to offer a global control plane, seamless multi-product experience and enterprise cloud governance.

How to access Nutanix Central?
Nutanix Central is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution. To start using Nutanix Central, customers can request a dedicated tenant through my.nutanix.com. Once done, customers need to ensure that they integrate the same AD/ SAML based identity provider to Nutanix Central that they have associated with all the Prism Centrals they want to register and manage through Nutanix Central. This enables the seamless federated access leveraging the already set access controls in the respective Prism Central domains.
Summary

This solution provides a cloud-delivered control plane that enables management at a large, federated scale across endpoints using a universal cloud operating model.
